Born in the quiet workshops outside Parma, Kired operates as the specialized outerwear house within the Kiton tradition, dedicating its artisans exclusively to the architecture of the reversible coat. Each season, skilled craftspeople in this historic atelier translate decades of Neapolitan tailoring into structured winter protection, treating every commission as a study in balanced proportion and tactile refinement. The PARANA1 exemplifies this discipline through a meticulous double-face cashmere construction. Two independent blankets of 100% pure cashmere are aligned by hand, requiring nearly thirty hours of labor to match the nap direction before master stitchers seal the perimeter with invisible seam rolling. Because the pattern is drafted without heavy interlinings, the silhouette maintains an architectural yet fluid drape. Every individual garment carries subtle fiber variations and inherent weight distribution, guaranteeing that no two pieces present identical visual depth between their paired surfaces. Sourced from premium European cashmere fibers and finished to rigorous Italian textile standards, the collection features a refined button closure and presents six meticulously coordinated two-tone executions, including earth and marine blue, charcoal and sand, or botanical green and deep navy. Sized 38–52 US (48–62 IT), standard flat measurements for the full production scale from 43.7 to 49.6 in / 111 to 126 cm in total length, with shoulder spans measuring 16.1 to 19.7 in / 41 to 50 cm and sleeve lengths extending 23.6 to 25.2 in / 60 to 64 cm. The PARANA1 is a reversible overcoat in double-face cashmere: two layers of pure cashmere, finished so cleanly that either face can be worn out. It is made by Kired, the Kiton group's outerwear house near Parma, known for its reversible coats.
