About the Brand

Kired by Kiton

Kired is the outerwear house of the Kiton group. Its workshop outside Parma began in 1986 as Wonderland, a factory specialised in sportswear, trench coats and raincoats, adding leather and shearling in the 1990s; since 2008 the collection has been made in a purpose-built plant in Collecchio, where a team of around forty carries on the sartorial tradition.

Reversible pieces are the signature. Double-face cashmere is joined so that a Kired coat can be worn either side out, and the same idea is applied to cashmere paired with technical nylon or lambskin leather, so one garment offers two ways to wear it.

The result is outerwear with the ease of the Kiton group's tailoring and the precision of a specialist factory: light on the shoulders, warm without bulk, unfussy in line, made to be worn over tailoring or knitwear with equal ease.

Entirely made in Italy, Kired by Kiton is the Kiton family's idea of a coat: quiet luxury, made to be lived in.
